Objectives
This course is designed to deal with the present challenges of occupational health service:
1) disability prevention in cooperation with workplaces
2) case management role of occupational health services
3) integration of disabled and jobless to work
Nordic and European models to tackle these national challenges and roles of OHS will also be discussed.

Occupational health specialists, public health experts, researchers, policymakers, students,
social partners, social insurance experts, integration and rehabilitation experts

Lecturers and topics
Course structure and working method
The course will be organized to be interactive and participant-friendly. The lecturers are invited to stay and participate in discussions for the duration of the whole course. Participants are encouraged to prepare their own cases for organized discussions.

A confirmation letter with detailed information on the payment of the accommodation as well as information about the practical arrangements will be sent to the participants after the registration deadline.

The language of the course is English.

Finnish participants can apply for financial support from the Finnish Work Environment Fund (Työsuojelurahasto). Further information can be found on the website: www.tsr.org
Applicants from North-western Russia or the St. Petersburg area can apply for a NIVA scholarship to cover the course fee and accommodation. Please contact NIVA for further information.
Other Nordic and international participants can turn to their own national education authorities, the Ministry of Health or the Ministry of Labour for financial support.
