22 - 26 October 2012, Scandic Strand, Bergen, Norway
Professor Bente E. Moen, University of Bergen, Norway / 490 EUR

Preliminary programme

Background
We spend more than 90% of our time indoors and most of exposure to pollutants of both outdoor and indoor origin occurs indoors. Energy is needed for cooking and to provide comfortable and dry indoor environment with adequate supply of fresh air. Provision of acceptable indoor thermal environments is vital for human survival in the Nordic countries. Indoor climate and how to handle building dampness are important challenges in developed countries. Many ways of saving energy in buildings entails increased risk for condensation and dampness problems, and we need to discuss the consequences and how to handle them.
